That is revision e code, which is the final code that was used to connect tree-ring proxy data with averaged, infilled, instrumental temperature data in publications. They had to do that because the data did not connect otherwise. The proxies were showing a decline in temperatures in the region where the proxies were sampled.
They also use exaggeration factors when it comes to CO2, as was seen in the IPCC TAR, but which the public did not know was the case until someone leaked the information to the public. I have seen that scathing review that never was published by the IPCC. Have you?

That is the wavelength of Infrared Radiation that we feel as heat. What they don't tell the public is that carbon dioxide is virtually transparent to that wavelength. Anyone who doubts that need only look very carefully at the absorption spectrum of CO2.

Notice where the line hovers around the 0.0 line in the range mentioned above? CO2 is transparent to the wavelength of longwave radiation we feel as heat radiating from the ground. The line at top of the plot of the spectrum is the line of wavelengths measured in microns.

since you insist on "simple facts" the electricity does not warm you either...it passes through a heating element which uses an electrical resistance to excite the atoms consuming wattage but generating heat.....this "heat" then through naturally propagation migrates to colder regions through one of three heat transfer mechanisms (conduction, radiation and convection)
