CLIMATE CHARTISTS TAKE A CRACK AT MAGNA CARTA

Two Just Stop Oil activists bent on shattering the foundation of English liberty and the American Constitution mounted a gallant  sledgehammer  and  chisel  attack  on Magna  Carta's display case, but were foiled by  its adamantine Gorilla Glass.They settled for gluing themselves to the case in a scene eerily reminiscent of their arch-enemy Mark Morano's performance in another public treasury :

Praise is due the British Library's polite and decorous security force, the inventors of molten salt ion-exchange aluminosilicate glass hardening, and the hardware store that thankfully did not direct the ladies to the carbide chisel aisle.
