And here's yet another bit of similar news.  You may recall that several years ago (real) Canadian climate scientist Tim Ball wrote of (fake) Penn State climate scientist Michael "Hockey Stick" Mann that "he belongs in the state pen, not Penn. State."  Mann sued Ball for libel in a court in Vancouver, Canada.  Ball demanded to get in discovery the underlying data and computer code that support Mann's "hockey stick" temperature reconstruction.  Back in February, the Canadian court ordered Mann to produce that information.  According to Principia Scientific, Mann has now defaulted on that obligation and has gone into contempt of court.  According to PS:

[U]nder Canada’s unique ‘Truth Defense’, Mann is now proven to have wilfully hidden his data, so the court may rule he hid it because it is fake. 

That may turn out to be an overprediction of how bad this will prove for Mann.  Still, it is very remarkable that Mann would think he could be a plaintiff in a libel case and not have to produce the data and code that support his statements.  Another guy to get under oath!

CO2 is not a Greenhouse Gas that Raises Global temperature. Period!

There are two groups in the climate debate: those who believe human CO₂ is causing global warming/climate change and those who don’t, respectively labeled Warmists and Skeptics. Warmists try to deny the difference, arguing skeptics are simply wrong. They refuse to debate, claiming the debate is over, which is like saying the science is settled. Both sides believe CO₂ is a greenhouse gas causing warming, but disagree on the amount. Warmists Both avoid the real issue that CO₂ is not a greenhouse gas, as demonstrated in the book Slaying the Sky Dragon... 

The Warmist position is fixed because it was achieved by corruption of the science and the scientific method...

Several years ago at a conference someone questioned CO₂ as a greenhouse gas. A senior climate skeptic gave what I considered a political answer. He said it was foolish to say it was not a greenhouse gas. The best approach is to say the human contribution was insignificant.
I disagreed, but had inadequate understanding of physics to openly challenge... 

ON INSPECTION, BALL'S ONLY CONTRIBUTION TO  CLIMATOLOGY  CONSISTS IN HIS HAVING DUG INTO THE TRADING POST  & LUMBER CAMP RECORDS OF THE HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY AND PUBLISHED  SOME ( ANTIQUE & UNCALIBRATED )18TH & 19TH CENTURY  THERMOMETER READINGS AND  THE DATES OF PASSAGE OF MIGRATING CANADIAN  GEESE , HIS  LAST  SUCH PAPER APPEARED IN 1994. 

IF BALL CAN'T GET THE PHYSICS OF HEAT ABSORBTION BY VIBRATING MOLECULES INTO HIS HEAD, - SOMETHING SCIENTIFICALLY ESTABLISHED  IN 1859, WHAT ON EARTH DOES HE - OR HIS LAWYERS,  EXPECT TO ACCOMPLISH BY SUBPOENAING PENN STATE  FOR COMPUTER SOFTWARE USED TO ANALYZE CLIMATE PROXIES  BASED ON STABLE  ISOTOPE RATIOS ?
