BIG SKY CLIMATE CASE OPENS WITH DEFENSE BIG LIE

NPR: Defense arguments set to open in landmark climate case brought by Montana youth

MONTANA'S IMMENSE COAL DEPOSITS OVERSHADOW ITS BIG SKY

According to NPR, Montana Assistant Attorney General Michael Russell said :

"Montana's emissions are simply too miniscule to make any difference and climate change is a global issue that effectively relegates Montana's role to that of a spectator,"

[ He neglected to mention that burning Montana's coal reserves would redouble the last half century of global climate forcing by releasing more than a trillion tons of CO2.]

Climatologist Judith Curry, who disagrees with the scientific consensus that human activity is primarily responsible for dangerous warming of the planet, has provided written testimony, but will not be present in court this week.
