While the  WUWT blog lede claims rock star status for Watts by boasting of more page hits than America's total population:

The long concealed bottom line statistic,  recently unleashed by some glitch , miscue, or mischievous keystroke on the blog's new platform, tells another story:

A number an order of magnitude smaller than the total of  fossil fuel company employees, that translates on average into  commenters conditioned by visiting the same echo chamber twice daily for a decade-- over 7,000 visits each. In contrast , Puritans only had to listen to two sermons on Sundays.
