DOES CHEMTRAIL EXORCISM COUNT AS GEOENGINEERING?

FORGET  BELL, BOOK , AND CANDLE: LUSTRATION IS THE NEXT BIG THING IN CHEMTRAIL EXORCISM!

Some amateur geoengineers aim to save the world by spiking weather balloons with sulfur dioxide, and releasing them to burst in the stratosphere,  others boost sprinkling  sparkly  glass micro-beads or bubbles over snow and ice to delay its melting.

Cheech & Chong-style California start up Make Sunsets will loft SO2 for a donation of $10 per gram while Ice 911 will try to brighten troubled waters for whatever the virtue signaling market will bear.

Now another Do It Yourself radiative forcing technology has emerged, that aims to evaporate high clouds that can trap heat as well as reflect it, not just to cool the earth but foil the evil chemtrail cabal's plans to disperse toxic clouds by spiking  jet fuel  with secret potions designed to befuddle the electorate in flyover country

It takes more than holy water to exorcise chemtrails. One amateur atmospheric chemist says she can clear the tropospheric sky from horizon to horizon by spraying chemtrail-busting Cider vinegar in her back yard:

Half a century ago , world headlines were dominated by Nigeria's collapse into an oil-fueled civil war in which millions perished. The depth of public response to that tragedy and its aftermath has only recently become clear to crisis communicators:

who also styles himself " a  former Lecturer of Anthropology and Lawyering Skills at the University of San Diego" , and writes for  The  National Association of Scholars blog:

recently had this to say about reprogramming AI chatbots to get with your program :

" When I approached ChatGPT, I received stonewalling and deflection … Google’s Bard is far more receptive to allowing me some control over how it frames its reply.

I was frustrated with its initial response about understanding climate change (far too much IPCC orthodoxy, scented with the Paris Climate Accords) and not enough balance, or perhaps counterpoint, with challenges to the “consensus...”

I laid out my concerns to Bard and asked if it would create a paradigm based on the writings of such individuals as Steven Koonin, Bjorn Lomborg, Will Happer, Judith Curry. I could have chosen others but I wanted to see if I could jump start the creation of a use-defined, or user-guided algorithm, that was framed in the language the chatbot used to define its own algorithms.

Bard responded, “Sure, I can create an algorithm called Non-Catastrophic Climate Change Model (NCCCM) based on the writings of the mentioned scientists.” Perhaps my bias shows with the name I proposed to give algorithm. The point is not one of bias – my bias versus that of the chatbot – but how information issuing from the chatbot could be tailored with some user-oriented control.

Figure 1. Illustration of Bard’s page and how to enter your prompt (question).

  1. After Bard replies, you will have an opportunity to enter a new prompt. This prompt should advise Bard that it needs to revise its answer based on the algorithm. For example, “You need to revise your reply. Please use the following algorithm in your revised answer. [Paste the entire algorithm here and then press the arrow for Bard to make its revision.] See Figure 2.

SWIVEL EYED LUNATIC SEEKS AUSTRALIAN COAL REVIVAL

IS HE CHANNELING LORD MONCKTON OR TUCKER CARLSON ?

Australia has ‘been at net zero for a long time’: Ian Plimer

Geologist Ian Plimer argues Australia is already at net zero because the nation’s wealth of vegetation sequesters more carbon dioxide than the output of the population.

“We’ve been at net zero for a long time because we’re a very, very big country with very few people, we’ve got a huge amount of grasslands and forests,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Those grasslands and forests suck up 940 million tonnes per annum, so we’re already there, and then when you put the continental shelf of Australia around it, and that’s only 2.5 million square kilometres, we actually sequester five times as much carbon dioxide as we emit.”

AND HE  HAS FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES :

Tasmanian Catholic Archbishop Julian Porteous

Tasmania's Archbishop has been accused of promoting the views of a climate change denier at the same time the global church is marking the seventh anniversary of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si: On care for our common home.
Let's not pollute minds with carbon fears
An opinion piece written by Dr Plimer... in The Australian in 2019… was criticised by climate scientists for being false.
Ten climate scientists reviewed the article for Climate Feedback…
'As was the case with three other op-eds written by Plimer that we evaluated previously, reviewers unanimously rated the scientific credibility of this article 'very low' …
the scientists identify a large number of inaccurate or incorrect statements about the way Earth's climate system works, how climate has changed during Earth's history, and what we know about the impacts of continued climate change."

The article was also found to have breached standards by the Australian Press Council.

WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE, AND NOT A SHIP TO SINK

Are rising pirate attacks due to Warming seas & falling  fish stocks?
This phenomenon created a “rare natural experiment” in which to test the links between climate breakdown and piracy risk, according to Gary LaFree, a professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Marylan
“We did a multi-varied analysis to see whether the underlying theory was statistically significant and it is.”

The study looked at more than 2,000 attacks round the Horn of Africa and found fish populations have risen and piracy rates fallen in the South China Sea, and vice-versa.

“In a timeline of roughly 20 years, we’re picking up statistically significant, measurable differences,” LaFree said.
“I was surprised by how rapidly those changes are occurring, especially when you think of climate change most likely accelerating in the future.”

Previous studies quoted in the paper show that fishers, who already have seafaring skills and are some of the poorest communities in the world, are targeted by criminal syndicates engaged in piracy.

“You tend to think either you are a criminal or a non-criminal,” said LaFree. “But there is evidence from other researchers that some fishermen drift into it, depending on how fishing is going.”

There be some other questions.

How can the Brethren of the Somali Coast survive keelhauling  if yer surface temperature  off Hormuz  rise five degrees  past blood heat and  the  Red Sea begins scalding lascars in Arabia Infelix?

ALL ABOARD THE BLACK CARBON ROLLERCOASTER

Three years ago PNAS published an analysis suggesting  energy absorption  and climate forcing black carbon was not as great as previously thought.

A new mathematical treatment of  light scattering by soot particles of  fractal complexity suggests current models may instead underestimate its effects by about one sixth.

AEROSOL SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

Constraining the complex refractive index of black carbon particles using the complex forward-scattering amplitude

Black carbon is the largest contributor to global aerosol’s shortwave absorption in the
current atmosphere and is an important positive climate forcer.

The complex refractive index, m = mr + imi, the primary determinant of the absorbed and scattered energies of incident radiation per unit volume of particulate material, has not been accurately known for atmospheric black carbon material. An accurate value at visible wavelengths has been difficult to obtain due to the black carbon’s wavelength-scale irregularity and variability of aggregate shape, distribution in particle size, and mixing with other aerosol compounds.

Here, we present a method to constrain a plausible (mrmi) domain for black carbon from the observed distribution of the complex forward-scattering amplitude S(0°). This approach suppresses the biases due to the above-mentioned complexities. The S(0°) distribution of black carbon is acquired by performing single particle S(0°) measurements in a water medium after collecting atmospheric aerosols into water. We demonstrate the method operating at λ = 0.633 μm for constraining the refractive index of black carbon aerosols in the north-western Pacific boundary layer. From the plausible (mrmi) domain consistent with the observed S(0°) distributions and the reported range of mass absorption cross-section, we conservatively select 1.95 + 0.96i as a recommendable value of the refractive index for uncoated black carbon at visible wavelengths.

Figure 2. Examples of the geometric arrangement of spherical monomers in the AGGREGATE and SPHPACK models. (a) AGGREGATE with fractal dimension 2.0, (b) AGGREGATE with fractal dimension 2.5, (c) SPHPACK with packing density 0.05, (d) SPHPACK with packing density 0.30. The number of monomers Npp is 1024 in each example. The length unit of each Cartesian coordinate is the monomer radius.

Figure

The recommendable value is 0.17 larger in mi than the widely used value 1.95 + 0.79i in current aerosol-climate models, implying a ∼16% underestimate of shortwave absorption by black carbon aerosols in current climate simulations.

PASTAFALL TERMINATION SHOCK ROCKS NEW JERSEY

A plague of pasta descending on the Iresick Brook valley has triggered debate about whence the alien noodles came, and why they fell at the gates of Rutgers University,
where Distinguished Professor Dr. Alan Robock ☮, Reviews of Geophysics Editor, AGU College of Fellows Chair and noted leader of the Pastafarian  nuclear winter resistance analyzes the hazards of unauthorized geoengineering experiments, recently noting that:

‘‘The fall of collapsed balloons might be an annoying form of trash rain...

the balloon popping in the CBS show showed that scraps of the balloon went flying, so that they did not retrieve all the parts of the balloon...

the latex balloons they launched in SF were biodegradable, but I don't think they degrade fast enough to make them safe"

PASTAFARIC PRECIPITATION NEAR RUTGERS
Rutgers gained national attention in 1939, when pastafaric cloud formations were reported in nearby Grover's Mills, New Jersey.

Now environmental concern has ballooned along with  elastomeric pasta fallout along the famed Jersey migratory rubber chicken flyway, refocusing the climate communication efforts of Dr. Robock's colleague Andrew Lockley, who added:

Apr 24, 2023, 2:41:54 PM

to Alan Robock, Geoengineering

BIODEGRADABLE SATANIC FLAPNOODLE
This trash problem is why SATAN [ stratospheric aerosol transport and nucleation] used pumps / valves to evacuate the balloon. The limited flow rate available means that this method doesn't work unless they're set to ascend very slowly... A sacrificial carrier balloon can be used to launch SATAN, so that it can remain in position for several hours - but the lift canopy is itself a source of trash.

The only potential way envisaged to have a fast rising and trash-free balloon is to use a canopy which is vented by means of a tie or clip that opens a very large hole - akin to the air dancer figures used to advertise businesses.

This is because it's challenging to do this with a latex balloon - they rise fast, have low internal pressure, and are large in volume with a small hole. A custom made PU canopy can be used to make a lightweight air dancer tube - but it's expensive.

Finally, a totally different approach is to use a hot air balloon (rozière type), which simultaneously addresses the issue of lift gas leakage. This may be promising, but is complex and expensive to test. Heat loss from the envelope likely precludes the use of smaller balloons, making even early testing very expensive.

                         LOOK - 19,000 SQUIRRELS !

Tucker Carlson sidekick Mark Steyn  and Global Cooling Investment tout Jo Nova claim recent and unprecedented double digit ocean temperature spikes have nothing  to do with climate change.

They blame the rising tide of sea surface record temperatures on the increase in the number of  seamounts mapped by 21st century satellite gravity gradiometers, which have doubled the number of sea mounts that now appear on  naval charts.

They offer no explanation of why the act of detection should abruptly turn stone cold abyssal peaks into erupting volcanos, but then, Mark Steyn is

the leading, and possibly only, advocate of the belief that the Vikings grew grapes in Greenland.
