CAPE  WIND  GETS  OFF  TO  ROARING   STOP

A RHODE ISLAND  RADIO STATION REPORTS:
A ten story  wind turbine at Salty Brine State Beach in Narragansett collapsed during Tuesday's nor'easter
With winds reaching more than 50 miles an hour in Narragansett, the 100-foot lattice tower buckled over from the dangerous gusts.
Pictures from the scene showed the turbine's tower folded over on itself and the turbine's blades sitting in the snow.
The wind turbine in Galilee generates enough electricity to power the beach's new bathhouse. It was remodeled in 2010, with the project costing nearly $2,000,000 .
Adresssing the fallen turbine,  Gov. Gina Raimondo Tuesday  said it'll be a priority repair for the state once the storm passes.
"Nobody has been hurt,” said Raimondo. “It's a wind turbine that's owned by the state, owned by DEM. And when the storm's over, we'll get it fixed."
